چکیده

Biological molecules such as DNA, proteins, and lipids can be assembled into naturally existing nanoparticles, bacterial viruses (also called bacteriophages or phages), plant viruses, nucleic acid nanoparticles (e.g., DNA origami), protein exosomes. These bionanoparticles have their own distinct properties (including compositions, structures, shapes, functions), laying the foundation for unique applications probes cancer imaging, detectors diagnosis, therapeutics therapy. To highlight how of different explored in nanotheranostics, this review critically analyzed use treatment. Specifically, each these representative bionanoparticles, we describe its that render it powerful theranostics compared with synthetic inorganic nanoparticles. We also summarize to genetically chemically modify redesign so they gain new functions desired theranostics, tumor-seeking tumor-destructive capabilities. Finally, discussed challenges exciting field. The covered represent biomolecular assemblies theranostic applications, showcasing power disease diagnosis

Applications of nanofibers in the diagnosis and treatment of cancer

When a cell’s DNA is damaged, the injured cells react by changing from normal to malignant cells, rather than dying or repairing the damage. Metastatic cancer is the deadliest kind of cancer since it refers to cancer that has spread to other parts of the patient’s body. The need for cancer detection techniques that are rapid, non-invasive, and accurate is growing. Cancer diagnosis, monitoring, ...

Nanotechnology and Pediatric Cancer: Prevention, Diagnosis and Treatment

Despite development of new approaches for the treatment of cancer disease, it is the second cause of mortality in world. Annually, 30000 persons die in Iran due to cancer diseases. Eighty percent of cancer patients are children which about 50% children lead to death. Given the high rate of cancer-related death, the new approaches for prevention, control, early diagnosis, and treatment of this d...
